Iriver specialises in portable multimedia products.

Ogilvy's appointment to the full-service account follows a two-way pitch against Grey Group. The pitch was completed on 30 June and the account's billing is undisclosed.

One of the major focuses of the new push is Smart Players in the Korean market.

Iriver also ventured into digital dictionary and e-book market in a US$5 million partnership with LG earlier this year.

Iriver currently ranks 494th in the 2010 Asia-Pacific Top 1000 Brands report released by Media last week.
