MS&L promotes Jaideep Shergill to CEO in India

MUMBAI - MS&L Group has promoted partner and head of the agency's PR, digital and events division, Jaideep Shergill (pictured), to CEO of Hanmer MS&L India, effective immediately.

Shergill is a founding member of Hanmer MS&L, having been at the agency for 10 years.

According to the agency, during his tenure, Shergill helped grow the PR division from five staff to more than 400 across eight offices in India. He is further lauded for growing the agency’s client portfolio, across the sectors of corporate communications, financial and investor relations, consumer lifestyle and employee communications, to more than 500 brands in 100 Indian cities.

In his CEO position, Shergill is charged with integrating specialty communications services into the agency’s overall operations, including social media marketing, financial and investor relations, crisis and issues management.

Shergill has been in India’s communications industry for more than 15 years, working at financial PR-focused agency Clea before joining MS&L.

“My new role will be challenging and I look forward to supporting groundbreaking work over the coming months and years,” Shergill said. “Our vision is to be India’s top PR and specialty communications brand, and I am committed to making this
happen.”
