FCB India appoints Ashima Mehra as CEO

FCB India has appointed Ashima Mehra as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Prior to joining FCB India, Mehra was the executive director at Leo Burnett India, where she spearheaded business growth and bolstered the agency’s market position. She was also previously executive vice president and senior vice president within the same organisation.

Mehra's professional journey spans over 18 years and includes significant roles at major advertising agencies and corporations such as Reckitt and Godfrey Phillips. Her expertise spans from initiating brand campaigns to leading high-stakes account management, with wide-ranging expertise in the advertising domain.

In her new role at FCB India, Ashima will oversee the agency's operations, with an emphasis on business development, client relations, and promoting an innovative and creative organisational culture.

The news follow's FCB India's announcement of the elevations of Anusheela Saha and Udayan Chakravorty in February this year to national creative directors.
