Seven vie for Bank Rakyat Indonesia creative account
Participants include Oze, Dwi Sapta, Bates141, Artek, Grey Advertising, Euro RSCG and GSNK.

According to sources the brief is worth an estimated US$5 million.

BRI, one of the largest banks in Indonesia, called a creative pitch for its savings account a few weeks back . The incumbent agency on the account is Matari Advertising.

Sources suggest that there will be no shortlist and an agency is likely to be appointed by next week.

In April this year, BRI appointed local shop Oze to handle its consumer loan product after a five-way pitch that involved Ideasphere, Octocom, Onecom and Sphere.

In July last year the bank placed the creative and media duties for its rural savings product Simpedes - worth over US$2 million - with Havas agencies Euro RSCG and MPG Indonesia, respectively.

BRI has the widest network in Indonesia and tends to focus on district capitals in relatively well-developed areas.
