OMD China wins Reckitt Benckiser, Pepsi duties
Sources close to the Reckitt Benckiser pitch revealed that MPG, ZenithOptimedia and Maxus also competed for the account. The incumbent is thought to have been a local agency.

The British household, health and personal care products manufacturer operates Dettol, Veet, Finish, Cillit Bang and Dosia in the Chinese market.

Separately, the agency is also thought to have picked up buying duties for PepsiCo in Shanghai, Tianjin and Heilongjiang, displacing Mindshare in those markets. Mindshare retains planning duties throughout China and buying in most markets.

OMD declined to comment on either development.
