Grey pulls in raft of new business in Southeast Asia
Jamsostek Persero is an Indonesian social security organisation. The company has aligned its domestic media placement business with Grey Jakarta. Ivanul Furkhan, Grey Jakarta's media director, explained that the brief would involve media planning and buying duties for TV. "Jamsostek will use a single medium, TV," he said, referring to the company's advertising strategy.

Meanwhile, CIMB Niaga, a major Indonesian bank, and GlaxoSmithKline have appointed G2 to handle activation duties. The project for CIMB Niaga will focus on CIMB Group's SEA Games and will involve activation events and official merchandising. The appointment follows a pitch that also included Ogilvy Action, Indo 5 and 6th Dimension.

GlaxoSmithKline is reportedly looking for a new strategy to promote its Panadol brand in-store. The business was awarded without a pitch.

In Thailand, Bausch & Lomb appointed G2 to develop an in-store promotion across Bangkok optical retailers until the end of the year. According to Grey Thailand’s VP and country manager, Pattaraporn Wongmesak, the project was awarded based on credentials without a pitch.

Wongmesak took on her role at the agency in April.
