Hedgehogs, goats and puppies deliver diabetes message

Can hedgehogs on vacation or a baby goat disco make Americans consider diabetes testing?

Ogilvy New York made these videos for the US Ad Council. The premise: While wasting a minute watching cute animals cavorting cutely, you could also do a simple test to see whether you're at risk of developing diabetes.

Ad Nut will grant you that hedgehogs and puppies are adorbs (even though the latter inevitably grow up to be murderous beasts). But goats? Please. It's a shame Ogilvy didn't want to use the cutest kind of creature in the universe and therefore make this campaign eligible for Ad Nut's Advertising Hall of Fame.

Ad Nut thanks the ad nuts at Campaign US, who covered this work first (and included the creative credits).
