What's all this about murderous beasts?

Our pal Ad Nut, the surprisingly literate squirrel who reviews new ads for us (it's a long story), has a thing about dogs. Perhaps understandably, Ad Nut believes canines are 'murderous beasts' intent on rending innocent woodland creatures into bloody shreds. Ad Nut cannot help pointing this out whenever an ad features a dog (see below), and we editors have just learned to live with it.
