Catch up on past people moves and business wins

TBWA promoted Ronnie Wu from executive creative director of TBWA Shanghai to chief creative officer of TBWA China. He joined TBWA Shanghai at the end of 2015.

Mobile marketing tech firm AdsMy appointed Simon Bailey as CEO. Bailey will be based between Singapore and Yangon, and was previously head of sales and marketing at adtech firm Trax Platform. He has also held positions at Mindshare and Publicis, and is in charge of growing AdsMy's IndoChina footprint. The company was founded in Myanmar 18 months ago. 

Kraft Heinz hired Karina Ong as CMO for Asia-Pacific. Ong was previously at Unilever, where she held several roles including most recently as global development director for Pond's. Before that, Ong worked in brand and marketing teams for Johnson & Johnson and Lux Asia. She will be based in Singapore.

PHD Hong Kong promoted James Wong to head of strategy and expanded his remit to include providing strategic planning support to the Unilever team in PHD Taiwan. He joine PHD in early 2017 and was previously planning director. The agency credits him with advanced its agenda on marketing technology by securing partnerships with local tech startups, such as Well Being Digital 101, which makes sensors for wearables; ORII, makers of a voice-powered smart ring; and chatbot developers Rocketbot. 

Naked appointed Lucielle Vardy as head of strategy and Sebastian Revell as senior strategist.
Vardy, who joins MD Tim Kirby and ECD Jon Burden on the agency's leadership team, was previously chief strategy officer at Emotive Content. SHe has also worked at GPY&R, Mindshare and Virgin Mobile. Revell joins from Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, and has also worked for Publicis, PHD, and Vizeum.

Australian dermatological skincare products manufacturer Ego Pharmaceuticals appointed Valtech Australia as its technology and transformation partner following a competitive pitch. Valtech will design and build Adobe platforms, marketing tools and components for Ego's global digital-marketing activities. The company's brands include QV Skincare, Sunsense sunscreen products, the Moov and Elucent skincare ranges and Aqium hand sanitiser.
