Indian-based digital ad platform SilverPush has opened its Southeast Asian headquarters in Singapore, relocating chief revenue officer Kartik Mehta to oversee operations in key regional markets  The firm already serves clients in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam.  Mehta is a digital ads and marketing veteran with over 12 years’ experience.  

Cognito promoted Prisita Menon to executive director, Asia-Pacific (APAC) and head of Singapore. She has been with the company for four years, prior to which she spent 10 years in both agency and in-house roles including with Ogilvy Public Relations, Ministry of Manpower and EY Singapore. She will report to Darrell Wright, APAC MD.

J Walter Thompson Sydney appointed Kyle Abshoff as group account director, reporting to client service director Ana Lynch. Abshoff was most recently with Saatchi & Saatchi and has worked with clients including Cadbury, St George Bank, Tip Top, NAB, Origin Energy and Royal Bank of Canada.

MADi, a manufacturer of affordable modular homes, appointed RXP Group as its marketing and technology partner ahead of the company’s global launch. RXP will design and implement a new core CRM platform, new website and digital commerce platform, service management, data analytics and visualisation. In addition it is tasekd to deliver an integrated approach to MADi’s marketing including branding, creative, digital marketing and social media.

Fitch appointed Emilia Mason and Matthew Robinson as design directors. Mason specialises in 3D design and was previously an associate with Woods Bagot. Robinson joins from the company's London office.

Creative agency Town Square hired Jane Callister, former of The Core Agency, as MD and Neville Doyle, formerly planning director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne as chief strategy officer.

Smaato appointed Alex Khan, formerly APAC MD of platforms for Oath, as APAC MD, and Toby Williams, previously head of exchange demand at Oath, as APAC senior director of demand business development. Both will be based in Smaato’s Singapore office.

PropertyGuru Group appointed Text100 as its agency of record following a competitive pitch. The agency will handle consumer, business and corporate communications in Singapore.

City of Melbourne appointed Leo Burnett Melbourne as creative agency of record, effective immediately, following a pitch. The remit includes strategic, creative and digital work across both corporate brand and destination marketing.

Blaze Digital appointed Andy Yap, previously with SpotX, where he led strategic partnerships and platform solutions, as vice president; Mark Anderson, who formerly headed up Astro Radio's sales, as head of sales for Blaze Digital; and Jennifer Ding, previously head of digital advertising at Karangkraf Media Group, as head of programmatic and inventory management.

BBDO Singapore appointed Mateusz Mroszczak as ECD. He joins from Happiness Brussels and Saigon, where he was group creative director spending equal time between the two offices. Mroszczak replaces Primus Nair, who is leaving the agency to pursue new opportunities.

Omnicom Media Group appointed Guy Hearn, formerly chief innovation officer, as chief product officer for Asia Pacific. The company said he will "focus his efforts on creating, implementing and championing market-leading products" for OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science. He will also work with the group’s analytics division, Annalect, to "further embed data and technology" into the agencies and will lead the network’s integration of Omni, the group's new people-based precision marketing and insights platform.

J Walter Thompson Hong Kong appointed Carlos Camacho, most recently ECD at JWT Shanghai, as ECD, succeeding Simon Welsh who is returning to the UK after five years as Hong Kong’ ECD. Camacho, a 2015 member of Campaign Asia Pacific’s 40 Under 40 (the 2018 edition is open for entires now), is a native of Colombia who came to Asia with Mullen Lowe in 2014.

APAC Global Advisory (AGA) hired Tay Guan Hin, most recently JWT's regional ECD for Southeast Asia and founder of TGH Collective, as creative change catalyst. He will provide AGA customers with creative communication development/ solutions to change business results. TGH Collective will also be part of a panel of AGA "co-creation satellites", joining Leeyau Chun Chuan, See Pin Pin and Lim Wenbin.

Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) appointed Rice and VML as its agencies of record for public relations and content marketing in Singapore. The joint appointment comes after a competitive tender, and will run for a year. The agencies will cover activities including public relations, media strategy, content marketing, as well as digital and social media campaigns.

Independent Construct Digital appointed Kunal Robert, formerly digital client director with Edelman Singapore, as client services director. He has more than 13 years of experience as a creative technologist and a digital strategist serving clients including HP, Vodafone, Singtel, Singapore Airlines, UBS, Citibank, Blackmores, Dairy Farm Group, and Tata Motors.
