PHD Philippines appoints Me-An Valenzuela-Bernardo as general manager

MANILA - PHD Philippines has promoted Me-An Valenzuela-Bernardo (pictured) to general manager of the agency.

One of the pioneers at the Philippines office, Valenzuela-Bernardo was previously strategic planning director and has been responsible for winning major accounts including Liwayway Marketing, Holcim Cement, DMCI and Mosbeau.

She will report to Hermie Deleon, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Philippines.

On the promotion, Deleon said: “This is a well-deserved promotion as Me-An has always been a top performer and demonstrated over the years that she is not only excellent in her day-to-day job but also possess a nurturing personality. She is a people person and a good mentor to the juniors.”

“To add to her positive traits, she is well-liked and well-respected by both clients and industry professionals, and excellent at account management. Over the years, Me-An has contributed to the agency’s growth through creative negotiation and strong media relations,” she added.

PHD recently named Howard Smith as its managing director in Singapore.
