Karen Yap joins Ogilvy PR Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Karen Yap, who left her position as group account director at Weber Shandwick in January, has joined Ogilvy PR Malaysia as director of corporate and finance.

Yap, who started work with Ogilvy PR this month, was corporate affairs senior manager at Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia prior to joining Weber Shandwick in 2010. She brings with her over 12 years of experience in the media, public relations  and advertising fields.

Yap holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.
