Brand Lab names Elvin Tan as MD Southeast Asia; hires Mill Stirling as agency-of-record for Porsche Design mobile launch

SINGAPORE - Former Pixel Media country manager for Singapore, Elvin Tan (pictured), has joined the Brand Lab Group, the sole distributor of Porsche Design mobile series and luxury goods in Asia, as managing director for Southeast Asia.

In his new role, Tan is charged with the entire operations of the company, to ensure market entry of Porsche Design’s mobile series and its portfolio of luxury and consumer goods that the group markets and distributes in Asia.

In view of Porsche Design's new mobile range, Brand Lab has also appointed Mill Stirling as the full-service agency-of-record for the launch due in mid-March.

The subsequent campaign is led by executive creative director, Ray Chan, formerly of Wieden & Kennedy and Bates.

Prior to Brand Lab, Tan was the first country manager for Singapore at Pixel Media and charged with the development and growth of the business in Southeast Asia.

Before Pixel Media, Tan spent the eight years in Greater China where he was VP of marketing and business development at Access Media Solutions, responsible for its APAC business growth.
