SingTel | SingTel Stadium | Singapore

The UEFA Champions League season has started and SingTel has created a virtual stadium providing a one-stop portal for football fanatics.

The SingTel Stadium provides an up-to-date news feed on the games and live and on-demand broadcasts on matches. To engage visitors further, fans can register and get their own seat in the stadium, which means personalising the seat, team colours and preference settings.

Besides providing up-to-date news from ESPN and BBC, football experts and bloggers are regularly featured in the Newsroom.

Fans of Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United can also sign in to the Club Rooms for information on the football teams. “We’ve worked hard to recreate the feeling of being at an actual stadium and catching the match live. At the same time, it’s a social community where fans can get together and exchange information freely,” said Melvyn Lim, creative director of OgilvyOne Singapore that developed the site.

A later phase with more features on the site is due to be launched as the football season goes on. .
