Insurer MSIG Holdings Asia promoted Rebecca Ang Lee to CMO, based in Singapore. Lee has 20 years' experience, and was previously SVP overseeing brand and communications. Before joining MSIG, she was general manager at Leo Burnett and led marketing and communications for Standard Chartered. 

Havas Group Singapore appointed Joseph Chua as general manager. He will focus on the creative side of the business, overseeing strategy, client servicing, innovation and effectiveness. Chua joined from Resn Asia, where he was APAC COO, and he has previously worked at JWT and Leo Burnett.

The Works promoted Paul Swann and Tom Harber to newly created roles as managing partners. Swann has been a creative partner at The Works for more than six years, before which he was managing partner at Naked. Harber joined from the UK in 2014 as creative project leader and group account director for Jim Beam globally. Both will report to founding partners Pincus and Kevin Macmillan, who will continue to work closely with the agency’s clients. 

McCann Health Singapore bolstered its team with five significant staff announcements. Nicole Lade returns to the agency after 7 years to become general manager.  Lade was most recently global projects director for medical/scientific publisher Wiley. Sean Riley also rejoins as executive creative director after close to three years in Japan as ECD Japan and North Asia. Liz Clark Martinez, most recently planning director at VCCP Health in the UK joins McCann Health Singapore as the head of planning.  Rebecca Murphy has been named director, HCP planning and communications, after senior stints both agency- and client-side – in Australia and the UK. Finally, Charles Williams joins as in-house medical writer, bringing expertise from a variety of industry roles in Hong Kong and Australia.

Naturell India, manufacturer of health foods including protein bar Max Protein, hired PointNine Lintas as its omni-channel agency of record. The agency will handle creative strategy, media buying, performance marketing, social media and shopper marketing. 

Malaysian financial comparison website RinggitPlus.com appointed an integrated team of Grey Group MalaysiaMindshare Malaysia and Zeno Group Malaysia for its brand communications following a competitive pitch involving over a half dozen specialist and integrated media agencies. The integrated team from Grey, Mindshare and Zeno will be charged with managing all aspects of RinggitPlus’ brand communications – from the creative campaign development, media operations and public relations to digital and social media execution.

The Brand Agency Perth promoted Nick Bayes to managing director. He has been with the agency since joining as a group account director in 2005, and has been general manager since May 2016.

FCB Kuala Lumpur promoted Natasha Aziz to general manager of FCB Group Malaysia from her previous designation as head of account management, promoted senior account director Syahriza Badron to head of business development, promoted Jamie Tan to head of operations from operations director, promoted Mandy Chock to creative group head and promoted Karan Chhabra as associate account director.

Waze appointed Kelvin Sim as country manager for Malaysia. He has over 18 years of experience including time in radio, financial and telecommunications marketing and digital mobile strategies and solutions.

T1, Turner International’s digital advertising division announced Fiona McKinnon as its new global general manager and Krane Jeffery as international senior commercial director. Both will manage the T1 commercial and ad operations teams based in London, and are now recruiting roles within APAC and other regions.
