The 4As has announced that Tay Guan Hin, founder of TGH Collective, will head up the Festival of Creativity 2019 as chairman. The Festival, focused on local advertsing and marketing in Singapore, combines the Creative Circle, or 'Gong' Awards with the Crowbar awards into one main event.

Digital marketing and communications consultants #ARM Worldwide have won digital duties for new electric motorcycle venture, Revolt Intellicorp following a multi-partner pitch in February. Under the mandate, #ARM Worldwide will be responsible for product communication, digital marketing (paid, owned & earned media), technology management and influencer & content marketing based in Gurgaon. Revolt's first electric motorcycle is slated to launch in July 2019.

VMLY&R Melbourne appointed Sarah Bailey and Jon Kenyon to newly created roles as managing partners and Kenneth Chan as strategy director. Bailey and Kenyon will report to CEO Aden Hepburn. Bailey will lead on the recently won Defense Forces Recruitment account, while Kenyon will lead production and build the agency's platform and CX capabilities. Bailey was previously managing partner at DDB and head of business management at Ogilvy. Kenyon was a senior leader at VML and has also worked at Isobar, Big Red and Fox Sports. Chan was most recently at Dig&Fish as head of strategy and has also worked at DT (now AKQA) and Accenture. These appointments follow appointments follow the hiring of Katherine Chen as client services director in December.

Publicis Groupe Japan appointed Naoki Nishimura and Tadashi Inoue as executive creative directors. Nishimura has spent his entire career at Beacon Communications, while Inoue started at Leo Burnett (the predecessor of Beacon Communications) and then worked for J Walter Thompson before returning to Beacon in 2005. Ron Smith continues in his role as ECD for global brands, and Luciana Cani joined in January as ECD for Saatchi & Saatchi. All four support Erick Rosa, the company's chief creative officer.

Geometry Singapore appointed Jen Hoskote as group account director, reporting to managing director Jane Perry. Originally from the United States, Hoskote has spent the last three years in Sydney. She was most recently account director with Apparent and has 11 years of experience in brand activation, social, digital and PR with clients including Campari Group, Moet Hennessy, Panasonic, MakeUp Forever, Grey Goose, Michael Kors and Redbull.

Comscore promoted Guido Fambach to EVP for EMEA and APAC, assuming his role from Will Hodgman who recently resigned from his position as EVP, International. The company also promoted Kedar Gavane to SVP, APAC, taking over from Joe Nguyen, who is also departing. Gavane will report to Fambach. Fambach was most recently SVP and head of EMEA. Kedar was most recently VP of APAC.

Mindshare Indonesia has promoted Uswatun Hasanh to be the new head of investments, effective immediately. Hasana has over two decades of media experience starting initally as a planner before shifting to investment. She has worked with clients such as Unilever, Nestle and Indofood.

CHE Proximity appointed Ben Shepherd as chief media officer. He joins from PwC, where he was director of the firm’s media practice and a founding member of its CMO advisory practice. Prior to that he was head of strategy and innovation at OMD Australia. His appointment is effective on June 19.

Virgin Active Singapore extended its partnership with Lion & Lion, increasing the agency's responsibilities from handling Virgin Active’s social media channels and search to handling full content marketing for social media, EDMs and blog articles. Virgin Active has six clubs in Singapore, and plans to open an additional one with digital help from Lion & Lion in 2019.

Lindt & Sprungli appointed WPP AUNZ agency Ikon as media agency of record in Australia following a pitch. The remit covers all aspects of media planning across the Lindt chocolate brand portfolio. Work commences immediately and includes all new campaign work from July 1.

Wachsman, a communications consultancy specialising in blockchain, finance, and emerging technologies, appointed Danny Phan as managing director for APAC, based in the company's Singapore office. He was previously regional managing director for Teneo Singapore and Southeast Asia, and has also held leadership roles at Ogilvy and Burson-Marsteller. He was a member of Campaign's 40 Under 40 in 2015.

MullenLowe Lintas Group promoted Subramanyeswar, better known as "Subbu", from chief strategy officer to group chief strategy officer. He joined Lowe Lintas as national planning director in 2011.

Experience management specialist Medallia appointed Gavin Selkirk as area vice president and general manager in Asia-Pacific. He was most recently president of Asia Pacific and Japan for BMC and has 25 years of experience in software, systems integration, analytics, cloud-based solutions and selling Salesforce.com solutions.
