There's a reason the dog in this Ikea ad is so overweight

Ad Nut usually steers clear of dogs, those murderous beasts, but would be tempted to mercilessly taunt this canine. There's no way the dog—whose name is Bouboule, French slang for "chubby"—would be able to catch Ad Nut.

Why is the poor pup so porky? Ad Nut won't spoil it for you. The ad debuted in France about a week ago.
