Decoded will be avalible in store on 16 November with the campaign Bing.com/jay-z launching this week globally online. The project reveals sneak previews of Decoded through on-and offline activities.

Pages of Decoded will be placed in 15 cities around the world of which most will be in New York where Jay-Z has based his career. Fans can find clues on the whereabouts of the book pages through searches on Bing Maps and Bing Entertainment.

Lisa Gurry, communications director at Bing, said, “Pages will be placed in everything from high profile advertising like billboards to very, very unique placements such as swimming pools and pool tables, and even high-fashion designer clothing racks.”

The campaign sees 600 advertising placements across traditional media, new media and online.

Five to ten new pages of the book are released every day for the month leading up to the book launch.

Winners will also be entered into a draw to win a signed copy of the page they located. A total of 200 prizes will be given away, including one grand prize of two tickets to the Jay-Z and Coldplay in concert in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.
