GroupM hires Ye as China search marketing lead

BEIJING - GroupM has appointed Sara Ye (pictured), a former product marketer at Google, as search marketing head for China.

GroupM hires Ye as China search marketing lead
Ye will be based in Beijing, where she will be responsible for strategic and operational development of the network’s search marketing teams across China.

She will report to GroupM Interaction China managing director Meg Wu, and GroupM Search Marketing Asia-Pacific chief executive Robbie Hills.

Wu said in a statement that Ye’s appointment would “complete our total offering in search, mobile, content marketing and internet advertising” to clients in China.

Prior to her appointment, Ye spent four years at Google in California and Beijing. She also worked as an internet marketing consultant in San Francisco, having begun her career with JWT in Guangzhou.
