Ohri previously led Dentsu in India and Asia Pacific South. He will now relocate from Delhi to Singapore for his expanded role.

“Rohit has done a fabulous job transforming Dentsu in India,” said Nick Waters CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific. “He will now be the steward of the Dentsu brand in APAC.”

Commenting on the future direction of Dentsu in the region, Waters said the agency has previously been managed under a “nation by nation” structure. Key to Ohri’s role will be to create greater “consistency and clarity” for the Dentsu brand across Asia Pacific as a whole.

“Dentsu is an agency network with a long standing history and a strong footprint in Asia Pacific. Rohit shares our creative ambition and strong vision for Dentsu and the way we work with our clients,” said Hiroaki Charlie Sano, executive officer of Dentsu Inc. and CEO of the Dentsu Branded Agencies within Dentsu Aegis Network.

“Ohri will be taking on a more central position within the network to help guide the business outside of Japan”.
