
In November 2012,Bite merged with digital agency Bourne to form a marketing services agency and dropped "Communications" from its name.
The new hires join a team of 20 digital and social specialists in the region. The new positions include:
Anthony Tartaglia as senior director, digital strategy. Tartaglia relocated from Shanghai where he was digital director of McCann healthcare.
Deepali Dabral as director, digital strategy. Prior to this appointment, Dabral worked as a digital consultant to Leo Burnett in Hong Kong after leaving her post as senior digital producer with Clemenger BBDO Sydney in 2011.
James Huang, as director of digital strategy based in Shanghai. Previously product executive and partnerships director with Sien Solutions, Huang joins with six years of digital agency and in-house experience in Asia and Europe.
Vishal Mehra, as director of digital strategy in New Delhi. Mehra has seven years experience in online advertising, mobile and integrated media. He was previously a regional manager with Spiider Digital Hub.
According to David Ketchum, president of Bite Asia-Pacific, half of the agency's work is currently digital and the rest comprises integrated marketing and corporate communications.
