As part of the agreement, Acronym will help iREP’s Japan-based clients grow their business overseas by offering comprehensive search marketing services such as search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid search (PPC) across Asia.

According to a statement, the partnership is a response to “a growing globalisation trend among Japanese corporations, many of which are actively seeking new markets”.

Janice Tan (pictured), general manager of Acronym Asia, said in the statement that the company would aim to deliver keyword intelligence campaigns “that return optimal levels of revenue and response”.

Acronym is based in Singapore with regional hubs in China and Thailand; iREP, based in Tokyo, offers a range of SEM services including paid search, SEO, web analytics and landing page optimisation.
