Pantene touts success of Japan hair-freedom movement

THE WORK: #HairWeGo for Pantene by Grey Tokyo.

Pantene Japan has released a video and OOH/print ads showing real-world people who are gainfully employed despite having hairstyles that don't conform to rigid ideas about how professionals—especially women—should groom themselves.

The ads aim to show the P&G brand's progress in its #HairWeGo initiative, begun in 2018.

The employees in the ads come from some of the government departments and companies who are on the record supporting Pantene's push for greater hair diversity.
