Changi Airport Group appointed Wunderman Thompson Indonesia as creative communications partner for the Indonesia market following a pitch. The tenure will be for two years, and the scope includes creative integrated communications and strategy, including CX design.

Ikon Brisbane was appointed as media agency of record for Metagenics, a provider of natural medicones in Australia and New Zealand. Ikon will handle media strategy, planning, buying and implementation across both markets while also providing specialist capabilities including data management, CRM and performance media channels. Work commences immediately.

Dentsu Aegis Network appointed of Supparat Thepparat as executive creative director of Dentsu One Bangkok. He will assist Subun Khow, chief creative officer of Dentsu One, in managing regional clients, digital platforms and the Business Design Lab. He was most recently creative partner at BBDO Guangzhou, and has also worked at JWT Shanghai, McCann Worldgroup Middle East and BBDO Bangkok. He is returning to Dentsu One, following an earlier tenure as creative director, starting in 2012.

Bonsey Jaden Thailand appointed Kanokwan Kaewwanich as creative director. She was previously with BBDO and SOHO Square Bangkok and has worked with clients including Thanachart Bank, PARK24, Dumex, King Power, Snail White, and Tetrapak.

Halza, a social-medical app, appointed BBDO for the development of global marketing of Halza and Hen.World, including Dr Hen Says, an Instagram account that provides health facts. The multi-year appointment will see the agency design a unified, creative strategy for brand communication, according to the companies. Campaigns will address issues including the rise of chronic and metabolic diseases like fatty liver, diabetes, cancer, stroke, and heart disease.

Iris reported it has won a pitch to be agency of record for Sustenir Agriculture, a sustainable farm that aims to bring “impossible crops in impossible places” by producing non-native plants locally through hydroponic and CEA (controlled environment agriculture) methods. The company intends to launch urban farms across Asia. The agency will be responsible for managing Sustenir’s brand strategy, creative execution and product innovation. Iris will also help Sustenir expand into Hong Kong later this year.

Ogilvy Melbourne promoted Danielle Chapman to managing partner. She joined the agency almost three years ago and was previously group account director, most recently leading the Mondelez creative account. She has worked with brands such as Cadbury, Telstra, Garnier, James Boag, Peters and PZ Cussons, and held senior roles at Publicis Mojo, GPY&R and CHE.

Data-storytelling platform Nugit appointed former BuzzFeed sales chief David Nemes as its first country manager in Australia. The company claims fivefold growth since launching in Australia last July. Nemes was BuzzFeed Australia’s first sales head, joining in 2015, and before that spent almost six years at LinkedIn.

Epson appointed Lewis as regional social-media agency of record in Southeast Asia, following a pitch in March. Lewis was the incumbent social-media agency for Epson Singapore, and now extends its remit will be extended to include content creation, management and optimisation of the brand's SEA social media platforms. The agency will also run regional campaigns and activities to drive a consistent brand identity and voice.

OpenX appointed Andrew Tu as managing director and Cheryl Tan as account director. Tu has been in-market growing the OpenX business since the first quarter of 2019. Before OpenX, he was The Trade Desk's first hire in APAC. Prior to that, he co-founded and launched Eyeota and also launched and expanded Brandscreen, APAC's first DSP. Tan joins OpenX from LinkedIn, where she championed the use of programmatic buying both internally and externallyShe has also worked for Microsoft and in Singapore.
