The group acquired the 20-year-old marketing company in August.

Raju has 20 years' experience in the communications industry with extensive work experiences in Asia-Pacific, Greater China and Australia. He reports to Tom Preece, global CEO of CPM International, based in London.

Unisono is also aligned with CPM International, the largest global field marketing agency.

“Since our 100 per cent acquisition by Omnicom in August last year, there are many interesting new positive developments at Unisono in China, including new business with very good international brands, new faces in management and migration of our brand into a global brand within the next 12 months,” Raju said.

“Our vision is not to be the biggest, but to be the most valuable field marketing agency in China, for our clients and CPM International, in the year 2013.”

Before joining Unisono, Raju was most recently general manager at Always (Shanghai) Marketing Services, a WPP company aligned with JWT and the largest field marketing agency in China, since August 2009.

He was also the MD of OgilvyOne in the Philippines from 2003 to 2005.
