Media Prima hires Pixel Media for ad sales

KUALA LUMPUR - Integrated media group Media Prima Berhad has appointed Pixel Media as its exclusive online ad sales network for eight of its television, radio and portal websites.

Pixel has been charged with developing display advertising, sponsorship, video and mobile strategies for Media Prima’s TV3, 8TV, ntv7, TV9, Hot FM, Fly FM, Gua and GuaMuzik domains across its Asian markets.

Brands including Malaysia Airlines, Nike and Maxis have been signed up to advertise on the sites.

Media Prima and Pixel have had a relationship since 2006, when Pixel was hired to manage 8tv.com.my’s ad sales.

Media Prima claims its sites collectively see 75 million page views per month, as well as 5 million unique visitors and 20 million video views.
