Luxury hotel group signs Ruder Finn in Greater China

SHANGHAI - Ruder Finn has signed a retainer contract with luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group to handle its communications in China and Hong Kong.

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company that operates a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts, has tasked Ruder Finn with a scope of services including communications strategy consultation, positioning events and integrated communications for China and Hong Kong.

Jumeirah launched its first five-star luxury hotel the Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai during April this year. A further five projects are currently under development in the Mainland, including Jumeirah Hangzhou, Jumeirah Guangzhou, Jumeirah Clearwater Bay Resort in Sanya, Jumeirah Macau and Jumeirah Thousand Islands Lake Resort in Qiandaohu. 

“Jumeirah is an incredible brand, and we are honoured to be supporting their Greater China expansion,” said Jean-Michel Dumont, chairman of Ruder Finn Asia-Pacific.

“Our experience in the luxury and travel and tourism segments will perfectly complement Jumeirah’s needs in the region,” he added.
