Ketchum puts Mark Bainbridge in charge as GM in Shanghai

Bainbridge has spent most of his career in Shanghai and Taipei working in the public relations and advertising industries. In his new role at Ketchum, he will be responsible for developing new talent and expanding the public relations agency's client roster.

Over the past five years, Bainbridge has led Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai as group managing director in working with clients like Siemens, Volkswagen, Ford, Mazda, HSBC, Unilever, Kodak and Allianz.

“With more than 150 employees working across five offices in five major cities, Ketchum Greater China plays an important role in the agency’s global network,” said Kenneth Chu, partner and CEO of Ketchum Greater China. Bainbridge will report to Chu after joining the agency.

Reported earlier this month, Ketchum has appointed Sonny Yang as the VP of strategy and development for China, based in Beijing.
