Former UM China chief Simon Woodward joins Nokia in global role

LONDON - Simon Woodward, former chief executive officer of UM China, has joined Nokia as global head of agencies and media management.

Woodward, who left UM China last year, joined Nokia in June and will be moving from Shanghai to the UK to take up his new post.

Prior to UM, Woodward was Asia-Pacific regional trading director at GroupM, where he also looked after Mindshare's regional trading team. Before that he was a managing partner at Mindshare China for four years, a post he took up after a 10 year stint with Carat.
