SINGAPORE – comGateway and DDB in Singapore have launched a new website that allows Asian shoppers to buy products online without an American credit card.

comGateway debuts Asian shopping site
According to a DDB spokeswoman, as many people in Asia do not own American credit cards, they find shopping online difficult because e-commerce sites cannot sell or ship to them.

comGateway, in partnership with Visa and DHL Express, has developed OneNow.com to enable Asian customers to shop, order and ship products to their home addresses from more than 300,000 US merchants.

OneNow.com went live in Hong Kong earlier this week and look to launch the site in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan in the coming months.
