Cannes Lions names juries for branded content, film craft, mobile

GLOBAL - The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the final three juries for this year's event, covering Film Craft and two new categories: Mobile and Branded Content & Entertainment.

Avi Savar, founder and chief creative officer of Big Fuel, USA, will chair the first ever Branded Content & Entertainment Lions jury for the festival, which takes place from 17-23 June. Ivan Zacharias, director of Stink, UK, will lead the Film Craft jury. And Tom Eslinger, digital creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, will chair the inaugural Mobile Lions jury.

Regional representation on the juries includes Silvia Goh of MediaVest Group in China, Cyrus Oshidar of Bawa Broadcasting in India, Seiichi Hishikawa of Drawing and Manuel in Japan, and Barney Loehnis of OgilvyOne Worldwide, Asia Pacific.

"This is an exciting year for Cannes Lions," said Terry Savage, chairman. "Not only does Mobile become an awards category in its own right, but Branded Content & Entertainment Lions is launched.
