Photos: Accenture Interactive Studios in Hong Kong

The 40,000-square-foot workspace aims to bring clients and consultants closer together to achieve better customer-oriented experience.

HONG KONG - Spanning more than 40,000 square feet over two floors, the flagship Accenture Interactive Studios, in the One Island East Building in Hong Kong's Quarry Bay district, is a creative space that houses Accenture Interactive, Fjord and PacificLink.

Specialising in O2O delivery, the studio comes equipped with configurable workspaces, workshops, design studios and a content studio. During a tour for members of the press at the launch of the studio, several vending machines capable of analysing skin health were seen in a corner—part of some retail-space work for a client. Live-streaming from the client's stores can be streamed into the conference room during simulation sessions.

Brian Whipple, global head of Accenture Interactive, described the studio as a living organism that is more than just a lab to build prototypes. Hype aside, the studio did appear to be conducive setting for visiting CMOs and clients to work alongside agency staff based in Hong Kong, as well as staff from other Accenture units around the world.

"Accenture Interactive is much more about our clients' customers," said Whipple. "We are helping our clients understand the needs and expectations experienced by their customers, that is why clients are here to learn about their experience."

He maintained that Accenture Interactive is technology agnostic, as the studio strives to work across different sets of technologies to drive an innovative customer oriented experience for the clients.

The company launched the Accenture Digital Centre of Excellence in June.
