MediaWorks 2017 kicks off in Hanoi

The 12th edition of the four-day training experience for young media professionals is now underway.

Seventy-nine young media professionals from around the region have gathered in Hanoi and are now tackling a brief involving a startup-company concept at MediaWorks, Campaign's annual four-day trial-by-fire training experience.

The event kicked off yesterday afternoon and runs through Saturday. The delegates will divide into teams to crack the brief, which was presented by Seraphina Wong, APAC executive director for brand management and advertising at UBS. The teams will make their pitches tomorrow and the winner will be revealed Saturday morning.

Chairing MediaWorks for the fifth year running is Torie Henderson, recently appointed CEO for Southeast Asia and India at Omnicom Media Group. Henderson has chaired the event 11 out of 12 years, in fact.

In addition, the MediaWorks attendees will benefit from the mentorship and expertise of the following industry leaders.
