ZenithOptimedia tasked to handle Red Bull Unplugged Concert

CHINA - Newcast, a division of ZenithOptimedia Group that specialises in non-traditional communication solutions, has won the creative account for this year’s Red Bull Unplugged Concerts.

This year's concert series feature top singers from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, including Hu Yanbin, Lin Zhixuan and Chen Chusheng. The first stop will be Fuzhou, the capital city of Southeast China's Fujian province. After that, the singers will tour major cities across the country.

"Our task is to provide the client with an integrated, multidimensional communications solution through integration and innovation," said Li Yifei, Vivaki's chair for Greater China."

"Compared with traditional marketing, unplugged concert is a totally new brand marketing channel," said Steven Chang, CEO of ZenithOptimedia Greater China, "But I believe that creativity is the soul to marketing. ZenithOptimedia's insights of and familiarity with the country's young consumers will help the client achieve a higher ROI."

Newcast was launched in China last September. Besides China, it also operates in the United Kingdom, Germany and India.
