Maxus lands Rediff.com's media duties

NEW DELHI - After handing over its creative duties to BBH recently, Rediff.com has brought Maxus on board as its media agency without a pitch.

Maxus lands Rediff.com's media duties
The business is worth an estimated to be Rs 25 crore (nearly US$5 million), according to sources close to the account.

Though Rediff.com did not have a media agency of record before this, it worked with Network on a project-to-project basis.

“Ajit Balakrishnan, founder chairman of Rediff.com was very keen to work with the Group M agency,” said Ajit Verghese (pictured), managing director, Maxus.

“Bagging an account without a pitch demonstrates the growing trust and credence Maxus as a brand is commanding in the industry. Rediff.com is a strong brand and we are looking forward to taking it to greater heights.”
