Multistrada is keen to tap the team's 54 million followers in Indonesia. According to the company, the sport had cumulative reach of 903 million fans in its most recent season.

“We are confident that this partnership will better leverage our brand to the international world,” said Pieter Tanuri, Multistrada’s president director.

As an extension of this initative, the company has also launched a social movement program called ‘A million footballs of hope for Indonesian children’.

Sporting events and associations are a key tool for Multistrada to raise brand awareness. In November, it extended a partnership with ESPN Star Sports Event Management Group for Achilles Formula Drift, a motorsport event. Multistrada will be the title sponsor for the event until 2015.
