A key part of Reyes' new creative duties will be on the United Overseas Bank (UOB) account.

Before joining DDB, Reyes spent 15 years with the Leo Burnett network, working across its Manila and Bangkok offices. He has worked with clients including Tide, McDonald's, and Gatorade. Reyes was also the President of the Creative Guild of the Philippines (the creative arm of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies 4As) for two consecutive years, in 2003 and 2004.

In addition to his advertising credentials, Reyes is also an award-winning scriptwriter and producer of independent films. His passion for films has been recognised by a range of international film festivals from Berlin to Sundance.

Commenting on the appointment, Leo Burnett Singapore Group executive creative director, Chris Chiu said, "I've known Reyes for almost 10 years and seeing the work he's created out of our Manila office, I think it’s fantastic that he's decided to make the move to Singapore."

Reyes left DDB Manila earlier this year after Joey Ong was appointed as executive creative director. At the time, DDB confirmed that other creatives had also left the agency.
