Shot at virtually no cost on a handycam, the savings from the production of the spot would go toward the Singapore Association for the Deaf, according to McCann Erickson’s ECD, Farrokh Madon. For every sale of the Buddy Meal, ten cents would also be donated to the said charity.

“It's a unique example of a good creative idea that not just helps a client advertise their offering during Christmas, but also supports a good cause,” Madon added.

The TV spot features KFC employees singing ‘Jingle Bells’ in sign language.
