According to sources close to the pitch, ten agencies were approached in the process.

Publicis is in charge of developing marketing initiatives for GT Land Plaza's HOPSCA (integrated hotel, offices, ecological park, shopping centers, conventions and apartments) project.

Sheena Jeng, CEO of Publicis China, said: "G.T. Land Plaza's creative and marketing assignment is the second most exciting real estate task that we have been granted in two months." She states that one of the biggest challenges is to create a holistic world-class image for the brand, while managing the multiple properties of the property development.

The first launch date of the marketing initiative is expected to be in Q4 this year. Publicis Guangzhou will begin work on 1 July.

GT Land Plaza is located at the center of Guangzhou's new central business district called the Pearl River New Town (Zhu Jiang Xin Cheng). The entire HOPSCA project covers an area of 920,000 square meters in the city. The complex will include a seven-star Jumeirah Hotel, serviced apartments, a fashion mall and premium office towers.

New World Real Estate (China) also granted an annual marketing contract for Goldenlake Jade Villa to Publicis Guangzhou without a pitch earlier this month.
