Ex-Eight Partnership China MD joins OgilvyOne Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Sheilen Rathod, managing director of China for Eight Partnership for two years, has joined OgilvyOne Hong Kong as a business director.

Rathod (pictured) confirmed to Campaign that he resigned from Eight Partnership at the end of May. He chose to move on after the remaining managing partner Chris Fjelddahl decided to close the Beijing office in response to managing partner Charles Brian Boys' decision to leave the company in April. Rathod left the Beijing office on 29 July and to relocated to Hong Kong.

A marketing and advertising veteran with over 16 years of experience in China and Europe, before Eight Partnership, Rathod was also managing director for UK agency Reluctant Hero Ltd for five years.

Over his career, Rathod has managed multi-disciplined account teams for a wide range of clients including Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Pepsi, Sony, Nivea, Danone, Credit Suisse First Boston, among others.
