AIA calls digital pitch in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Five digital agencies are reportedly vying for AIA's digital business in Singapore.

AIA calls digital pitch in Singapore
According to sources in the market, three of the agencies are 4As and the remaining two are independent agencies based in Singapore.

A source close to the review said the insurer is looking for “more engagement” in the market and is further looking to boost its profile.

Sources add that the company has not had an agency-of-record in Singapore before.

The news comes one week after the life insurer appointed UM as its regional media-buying agency, and last year the company appointed Leo Burnett to boost its brand in the region.

Earlier this month, Britain's biggest insurer, Prudential Plc, announced it would acquire AIA – AIG's Asian arm – for US$35 billion.
