CHINA - President and CEO Dick van Motman says the significant changes made to DDB Greater China's management structure will allow the group to benefit from its own network and provide the best in class work for its clients.

The restructure aims to strengthen the whole DDB Greater China network including the four brands DDB, DDB Guoan, Tribal DDB and RAPP. Under the new changes, each of DDB Greater China Group's five offices - Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Taipei - will be headed up by a new president, whose responsibility will be to oversee and strengthen operations.

Van Motman said that while each office in Greater China has been very successful on its own, combined together they become a powerful network that is designed to more effectively unlock DDB's belief that creativity is the most powerful force in the business across the entire sub-region.

"These structural changes will enable us to better serve our clients and maximse the growth potential of greater China by unifying it as one region," he said. "It will enable us to bring clients more effective integrated solutions across all disciplines and locations and allow us to capitalise on the best work coming out of the network, wherever it comes from."

The restructure follows the creation of DDB’s new Greater China sub-regional network led by van Motman in January.
