Catch up on past people moves and business wins

Iris Singapore appointed Yashas Mitta as deputy creative director and Uni Lee as senior creative, working on Samsung and Starbucks, respectively. Mitta was previously creative director at Media Monks Singapore. Lee, who was previously at BBH and TBWA, joins as partner to Racquel Narciso.
The company also hired Yasee Poh as senior visual designer.

Salesforce announced that Cathay Pacific, which haas used Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud since 2014, will deploy Salesforce Marketing Cloud to unify sales, service and marketing.

The Insiders, a global influencer network, announced its entry into Japan and appointed Nao Karato as country manager. He has more than 25 years of local experience in marketing and business development, having served global brands like Heineken and Mastercard in Japan. The Insiders has operations in Southeast Asia, Australia, and Korea. 

Mango Melbourne, part of the DDB Group, appointed Carol Laws as account director, Janette Henstridge as senior account manager and Maddie Poulson as account executive. Laws held previous roles at Kate & Co and Porter Novelli. Henstridge joins from Attention + Influencer (formerly PR Edge). Poulson has returned to Australia after spending time in the UK working in luxury fashion PR.

INVNT appointed Brea Carter as director of PR and marketing. Based in Sydney, she will be responsible for leading the company's PR and marketing efforts on an international scale. Carter has worked as a journalist in London.  

Deliveroo appointed Golin Hong Kong as its PR agency. The firm is in charge of communications, corporate work, government relations and public affairs, and will also help promote Deliveroo's CSR efforts. 

McDonald’s China has concluded a media agency review process that started last October, facilitated by Ebiquity China. OMD China is awarded the business in a two-way final round against Starcom.

OCBC Bank appointed StarHub’s in-house digital and social analytics hub Curiosity as its social-listening agency. Prior to this account win, StarHub Curiosity provided topical social listening services for a few OCBC Bank campaigns.

TBWA\Hakuhodo appointed Makiko Abe as senior director, human resource, and Ayaho Miki as director, human resource and talent development. Abe has more than 20 years of experience across various industries and Miki joins from a business consulting firm.

Nugit appointed Darren Jacobs as VP of sales and client development in APAC, based in Singapore. He joins from iClick Interactive, where he was head of agency sales for Southeast Asia and Europe. He has also worked with Yahoo and Zenith Optimedia.

Execution company HH Global signed a long-term partnership to provide Walmart China with photography, design, and production of catalogues for its more than 400 retail stores in China. The remit includes fortnightly delivery of millions of catalogues.
