Altogether six agencies hosted parties for Spikes Asia delegates as part of the Networking in the Dark event.
Delegates started at Balclava at Suntec City, a party hosted by Starcom MediaVest. Then it was off to Ogilvy House which was decorated in agency's trademark red with red baloons, red windows and red drink. The enthiusiasm was tempered slightly when the alcohol ran out.
Next stop was TBWA’s rooftop party, well attended and laid back. Earlier rumours that the TBWA bash had a 'lesbian' theme proved unfounded.
(Warning: video includes swearing and scenes of drunkenness. Unsurprisingly.)
After that it was off to Euro RSCG’s party, which featured transvestite dancers and tattoo artists. Agency boss Matthew Fanshawe was dunked in water as part of a charity stunt.
The last two stops were BBDO and JWT. Except for Richard Fraser, it was hard to spot anyone from BBDO at the BBDO party.
The JWT party was on the rooftop of 50 Scotts Road, where the agency is expected to be moving in December. The theme was air stewardesses and pilots, and the party was the last stop for many delegates, thinning out at around 2am.
