Universal McCann appoints David Fernandez head of search

SYDNEY - Universal McCann Australia has appointed former search operations director of Outrider David Fernandez as the agency's head of search.

Fernandez is charged with heading up Universal McCann’s integrated search operations in Australia and is responsible for bolstering the media agency’s search business. 

He will be based in Sydney and will oversee all search operations across Universal McCann’s offices in the market. 

According to Universal McCann’s Australia CEO Henry Tajer (pictured), Fernandez’s hire was prompted by the growth the seen in the search sector.

“One of our key focus areas in the next three years is to provide fully integrated, holistic solutions to our clients,” Tajer added.
