This is part of MediaVest winning global digital media duties for Europcar in nine markets. MediaVest was the incumbent on the company’s UK account. The agency will now manage paid search and display media strategy in Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, the UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium. MediaVest’s London headquarters will plan and implement digital SEM and display in the Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium markets. For the rest, the London office will collaborate with media offices in France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

MediaVest London teamed up with the Paris, Frankfurt and Sydney offices to build an international digital structure to deliver a global strategy for paid search and display. Display performance marketing is to be powered using DOT, MediaVest’s proprietary approach to the optimisation of digital creative.

Europcar is looking to expand internationally using cross-border paid search and display strategy.  “Europcar has assigned the paid search and display strategy to MediaVest to expand and develop our global activity,” said Greogory Bouchez, head of digital marketing for Europcar. “Europcar teams…will work closely with local MediaVest teams to combine their expertise with international strategy from London to drive our digital efforts to be best in class.”

Chris Nolan, chief operating officer at Starcom MediaVest Group Australia, said, “The strategy leverages our local and international resources and experience in data and analytics to drive performance as well as providing a meaningful brand experience.”
