Star Publications names new group MD and CEO

KUALA LUMPUR – Star Publications has named Ho Kay Tat as its group managing director and chief executive officer.

The appointment, which was effective from 1 July, replaces the retiring Linda Ngiam Pick Ngoh who will remain on the group board as a non-executive director.

Ho brings some 27 years of media industry experience into the top job, including previous stints with the New Straits Times, the Malay Mail, Reuters, the Business Times Singapore, The Sun, The Edge and The Edge Financial Daily.
