New partnership for BCD Meetings & Events in Thailand

The events agency joins forces with a Bangkok-based entertainment and media group.

New partnership for BCD Meetings & Events in Thailand

Meetings and events agency BCD Meetings & Events signed a partnership in Thailand with B-Concept Media Entertainment Group, a Bangkok-based entertainment, events and media marketing company. The partnership will allow BCD to grow in the regional market.

“The skillset of B-Concept is a perfect fit for local servicing as well as setting examples for other agencies in the region,”  Jeroen Duiker, VP, global network, BCD Meetings & Events, told CEI. “We are already seeing heightened interest from companies who want to learn more about BCD M&E and B-Concept, which will help diversify our client portfolio and open up new potential client opportunities for both agencies.”

As the case with all partnerships between agencies and local production companies, this tie-up will enable both parties to leverage resources and grow client portfolios. “It’s BCD’s strategy to grow through organic growth as well as strategic acquisitions. Growing by partnerships with local experts has enabled us to grow at least 3 x as fast as we would have otherwise over the last few years,” said Duiker.

FOR BCD, Thailand serves as a good case study for a partnership like this one because of the country’s “economic and industry developments”. Duiker added: “We are working on an on-going partner pipeline both in the region and around the world. These strategic opportunities will be driven by client needs, not just because [we want to] put a ‘flag in the sand’ to grow our footprint.”

Meanwhile, William Kuipers, CEO for B-Concept Media Entertainment Group, said in a statement: “With our local knowledge, technology, marketing channels and supplier networks, we are excited to partner and service our global customers in Thailand.”
