SINGAPORE - David Mayo (pictured) has taken over from Paul Heath as regional president of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, three years after having assumed the role of Asia-Pacific vice president.

Mayo to lead Ogilvy Advertising in Asia
The promotion follows that of Heath to chief executive of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific.

While unable to provide specific details of his agenda for the coming year as head of the WPP agency’s advertising discipline, Mayo indicated that development of local new business would continue to be a focal point. He added that he would look to maintain Ogilvy & Mather Advertising as the ‘front door’ for the agency.

Mayo’s appointment is effective immediately.
