Lenovo makes Weber Shandwick its social media partner in Australia and NZ

Lenovo’s social media had previously been handled in-house. However, to grow its business in Australia and New Zealand across sectors including the small business community, government and education, Lenovo has decided to take advantage of Weber Shandwick’s expertise. The agency does not to traditional PR for Lenovo.

“We identified the need for a strategic digital agency partnership that would contribute to our marketing mix and enhance engagement in our target markets,” said Danielle Uskovic, environment and social media manager for Lenovo Australia and New Zealand.

For its part, Weber Shandwick will focus on community management, content creation and online advocacy.

Commenting on the new partnership, Jye Smith, vice-president of digital, Asia-Pacific at Weber Shandwick, said: “Lenovo continues to grow in the SMB market and it is exciting to tailor a social-media campaign for this audience.”
